Mullacreevie Green Opened by Minister McCausland

12 September 2013

Fold's latest development in Armagh, Mullacreevie Green, was officially opened by Nelson McCausland the Minister for Social Development on 19 September. Minister McCausland visited the new homes and planted a tree in the centre of the amenity area.

This event marked the completion of the development which saw the provision of 21 much needed homes in Armagh. Fold has invested £2m in this green field site, with grant aid from the Department of Social Development of nearly £1.3m.

Mullacreevie Green has been designed to integrate with the rest of the established community in this part of Armagh. There is an amenity area at the front of the development and a pedestrian and cycle link with Callanbridge Road has been provided.

Fold's Chief Executive, John McLean commented, Fold is delighted to have been involved with the provision of 21 new homes in this area of high housing stress. These homes have been designed to provide high quality, safe and energy efficient homes which can be adapted to meet any future needs.I would like to thank the Housing Executive and the Department of Social Development for their support in this project.
