6000th Home Milestone for Fold

Fold Housing Association recently celebrated the completion of our 6000th home at Brian's Well Grove, Poleglass.

Ms Patricia Corentin, the 6000th tenant, was presented with flowers by Fold's Chair, Diana Fitzsimons. Patricia said, ''We are delighted to move into our new home at Brian's Well Grove.My family is from the area so we are glad to be able to stay in the community.We're looking forward to making our new house our home and getting settled, dare I say it, before Christmas!

To mark this milestone, Fold hosted a community party for the new residents at Sally Garden's Community Centre. The families and children enjoyed a mini zoo, sumo wrestling, party games, face painting and a bouncy castle.Representatives of Fold's Board, Housing and Development teams, the build team and local community representatives, including Junior Minister Jennifer McCann MLA came along for the celebrations.

The 2 and 3 bed homes and apartments at Brian's Well Grove are designed to meet the needs of families at different life stages, thus reflecting real communities as well as providing much needed, quality, low cost social housing for those families and applicants who are experiencing housing stress.

She added, 'Fold Housing Association continues to meet our targets for new build year on year. The strong asset base that our 6,000 properties provides, reinforces our position as one the major social landlords in Northern Ireland and enables us to leverage in private finance and to raise revenue which we can re-invest in the housing, care and support services we provide to over 30,000 homes.'
