Family Fun in Ballymena for Community Relations Week

28 September 2016

The Minister for Communities  Paul Givan MLA, visited the Family Fun Day at the St Patrick’s and Glenshesk area in Ballymena  organised by Fold Housing Association and the NI Housing  Executive to celebrate Community Relations Week.
Eileen Patterson, Fold’s Director of Housing said, “We were delighted that the Minister for Communities  was able to join us to see the thriving community that is St Patrick’s  and Glenshesk in the heart of Ballymena.
She added, “Our Family Fun Day has presented a great opportunity for tenants to get together during Community Relations Week.   Community social activities highlight the things we have in common but also gives us the chance to meet people from different cultures sharing the same community.”
Communities Minister, Paul Givan MLA enjoyed a cup of tea and a chat with tenants and staff.  He commended the work of both Fold and NI Housing Executive on their community engagement activity during Community Relations Week.
