Community Safety Organisations
Radius Connect 24 works closely with a range of community organisations to design and deliver services providing protection and support to vulnerable adults from crime or fear of crime.
In Northern Ireland, the Quick Check service has been developed with PSNI as a first line response to the risks of bogus callers.
For those who wish for additional protection and support, Radius Connect 24's Safety Service in NI and Seniors Alert Scheme in ROI offer additional support.
How does it work?
On receipt of a referral for the service, a Radius Connect 24 Support Officer will undertake a home visit to recommend the appropriate Radius Connect 24 sensor package, designed to manage the identified risks for the individual user.
At this initial visit, the Support Officer will ensure that the appropriate package is configured and installed correctly and will spend time with the individual user and carer, explaining how the service works when an alert is triggered.
Radius Connect 24's Support Officer will also work with each customer to develp an individual review plan.
When anyone connected to the service calls us, activates an alarm, or if a sensor detects a problem we respond immediately. Our call advisor team understand the difficulties that clients may experience and are able to provide reassurance and support and arrange for further assistance if required.
