A creative and family-friendly Pumpkin Decorating Workshop was delivered at Cappagh Green as part of a Halloween community-bonding event, attracting over 50 participants.
Children eagerly got involved, decorating whole pumpkins with a variety of autumnal and Halloween-themed materials, including colourful leaves, pinecones, twigs, ribbons, rustic bows and mini battery-operated lights. This provided a safe, accessible and mess-free alternative to traditional pumpkin carving, allowing children of all ages to express their creativity and proudly take their finished decorations home.
The event created a joyful and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging family bonding, creativity and positive interaction between residents. Mr Whippy was a particularly popular addition, providing an extra treat for children and families and adding to the festive atmosphere. Overall, the event was a great success, with enthusiastic participation and plenty of smiles, making it a memorable and positive experience for the community. We are delighted to see such excellent attendance and strong tenant engagement at our Shared Housing Scheme.
