As part of the Red Sails Festival 2026, a private, exclusive event was held for residents of Cappagh Green on Friday 24 July 2026, and it was a fantastic success.
The Family Summer Fun Day was very well attended, with participants enjoying a fun-filled morning. Children took part in a lively drumming workshop led by James, enjoyed face painting, were entertained by the magic show, and received a variety of balloon creations. Snacks were also provided for everyone to enjoy.
The event created a wonderful atmosphere, filled with excitement, laughter, and community spirit. It was a great opportunity for families to come together and engage with one another.
We are delighted to see such excellent attendance and strong tenant engagement at our Shared Housing Scheme.
Organised by the Portstewart Community Association (PCA) and proudly supported by Radius Housing and more than 60 local volunteers, the 2026 festival was a huge success, with over 90 free events taking place. From world-class bands, dancers, and comedy performers to sandcastle building and talent competitions, the six-day festival had something for everyone.
