This summer, Seven Oaks Care Centre celebrated a significant milestone. Since officially opening our doors on 12th June 2001, we have had the privilege of providing care, support and friendship to hundreds of wonderful individuals over the past 25 years.

Throughout this journey, our residents have shown us the importance of living life to the full, finding joy in everyday moments, sharing laughter, and never taking ourselves too seriously. Their stories, experiences and resilience have enriched all of our lives and helped shape the warm and welcoming community that Seven Oaks is today.

During this time, our Housing-with-Care and Day Care services have supported approximately 400 individuals and their families. We are incredibly proud of the difference these services have made and continue to make within our community.

A milestone such as this would not be possible without the dedication our staff, both past and present. Their compassion, professionalism and unwavering commitment have helped make Seven Oaks the special place it is today.

With the support of our Trust Partners and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, we have been able to participate in wonderful initiatives including life story and reminiscence projects, Reading Rooms, art and music programmes, and Dementia Tea Dances. These opportunities have greatly enhanced the lives of our residents and strengthened our connection with the wider community.

As we mark this 25th anniversary, we also recognise and celebrate our Day Care Manager, Thelma Moore, who will soon be retiring after many years of dedicated service, friendship and support. Thelma has touched the lives of countless people throughout her career and has been a valued member of the Seven Oaks family. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her every happiness and success in her retirement.

Radius is proud of all that has been achieved over the last 25 years at Seven Oaks, and we look forward to continuing to provide high-quality care, support and opportunities for many years to come.
