Radius held it’s latest AGM this week at the La Mon Hotel in Belfast.
Shareholders and business partners joined the Radius Board and staff as they reflected on further successful results in this the 50th Year of the association. The event combined formal AGM procedures with staff awards, showcasing those teams and individuals that had gone the extra mile.
Key achievements for the year included:
- Commencement of 424 new social and affordable homes, bringing Radius’s programme to 760 units on 17 sites, all designed to EPC-A / High-B standards
- Turnover rising to £124m whilst retaining their A2 Stable Moody’s rating, one of the highest awards for a UK based housing association
- Supporting tenants with over £30m of investment in existing homes, service charge subsidies of £1.6m, and VFM added-services worth £3.3m.
- Enhanced SMART and agile working through a multi-million pound investment in ICT, a new telephony platform, primary data collection systems, and new offices
- An expanded social impact and community investment programme of 195 events, supported by 340 voluntary and community partners, attracting 50,000 people
Radius’s achievements during the year led to many awards including Platinum for Tenant Engagement (Supporting Communities NI), Developer of the Year (Belfast Telegraph), the Brick Regeneration Award (UK Social Housing Awards), Excellence in Planning (RTPI) and for Regional Community Investment (CIH). At the event Radius’s Chairperson Martin Pitt MBE was congratulated following his recognition in the June 2026 King’s Honours List.
