Coronavirus - home visits, repairs and office closures
March 18th, 2020
In response to the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in Northern Ireland, Radius Housing Association is implementing the following measures from Friday 20 March 2020.
Our offices in Holywood, Lisburn Road, Newry and Londonderry will be closed to the public. The organisation will strive to continue delivering services whilst minimising face-to-face contact as much as possible to ensure the safety of all its staff, tenants and residents.
Our Assets team will be facilitating a service that prioritises compliance, emergency and urgent works of a Health and Safety nature. If you call to log a routine repair you will be asked to call back in a months’ time.
We have asked that relatives, friends and the public do not visit any of our housing with care schemes until further notice.
Until further notice our sheltered housing schemes communal gatherings have been cancelled. This includes lunch clubs, coffee mornings, use of the hairdressing facilities etc.We ask that non-essential visits to sheltered schemes are avoided until further notice and no more than one visitor at a time.
Radius staff and contractors will implement enhanced risk assessment prior to visiting any home or scheme. We will have to ask a number of questions to determine your household’s health before we make a decision to complete a visit. Please do not be offended by this, our staff and our tenants and residents health is of paramount importance to us.
