23 Feb 2016

Around 12 tenants at Dean Crooks Fold will be taking part in the upcoming

S P A C E D project, along with students from St.Mary''s Primary School and four members of the East Belfast Forum.

The S P A C E D project aims to use astronomy as a tool to bring together various groups from the same local community. The main objective is to widen our understanding of Earth''s place in space and of the world around us.

Alison, the Scheme Cooridinator was first contacted by "Engage With Age" about taking part in the project. Alison said "I hope my tenants enjot this intergenerational, cross community project, ss it gives the tenants an opportunity to engage with younger people in a dynamic and compelling format".

The project begins on the 7th of March and will continue on both the 15th and 22nd of March.
