Fold Housing Association got Culture Night celebrations off on the right foot with their Afternoon Tea Dance held in the Non Subscribing Presbyterian Church Hall, Holywood. The Tea Dance was organised for older people in the community.
John McLean, Fold’s Chief Executive said “We are delighted to be part of the Culture Night celebrations. Fold was established 40 years ago in Holywood, so this, our 40th year is very special. He added, “Our Afternoon Tea Dance has become a key event of Culture Night. This year we had over 70 older people from Fold’s schemes at Loughview, Spafeild, Ardrigh and Inverary as well as members of the Holywood 55+ Club and people who just dropped in for a dance. Culture Night helps being the community together and it is great that there is something for everyone regardless of age.”
Fold would like to thank the Board of the Non Subscribing Presbyterian Church Hall for their hospitality. In particular we would like to thank Barbara Lowry, Barbara Chappell, Marion McClean and Aline Knock. Thank you also to Skinners bak
