Fold's Runners on Target for Alzheimer's Society

10 May 2016

Employees from Fold Housing Association who took part in the Belfast City Marathon have raised over £800 for their corporate charity partner Alzheimer’s Society. A dozen staff from the organisation took part in the relay and fun run events in the annual marathon which attracts runners from all over the world.

Eileen Patterson, Director of Housing, part of the relay teams said, ‘’We are delighted with the support given to the relay and fun runners from colleagues, friends and family for our corporate charity partner Alzheimer’s Society. Thankfully, the weather held up making it an enjoyable day for everyone which was matched by brilliant support from spectators along the route. Individually, all the runners faced personal challenges and targets but we motivated each other to finish together as a team. We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us for such a great charity who does fantastic work in Northern Ireland.’’

Those who took part included: Eileen Patterson, Andrew Quinlan, Fiona Brown, Patrick McKeown, Aaron O’Prey, Christine Cackett, Eoin Armstrong, Peter McCollum, Robert Managh (Relay event) and Tina Harrison, Ben Conway and Fidelma Glass (Fun Run).
