The Good Neighbour Award celebrates neighbours in our Radius communities that are one in a million and have gone above and beyond to make a positive difference to their neighbours.  This years Good Neighbour Award Winners are:

COMMUNITY PRIDE

The Community Pride award thanks all the positive work carried out within the Radius community over the last year.  This award celebrates Radius communities working together and from the nominations we received the judges had some tough decisions to make.  The winners are:

CREATIVITY AWARD

The Creativity Award is a new category that was created by our Tenant Executive Committee.  This award looked for someone who has shone bright with their creative skills during lockdown.  From arts and crafts to revamping something in the Radius Community this award showcases and recognises all the creative things taking place in our communities.  The winner is:

· Maine Fold, Randalstown

INSPIRATIONAL YOUNG PERSON

This is a new award to celebrate the young people who live within Radius Communities.  We asked if you knew a young person who goes above and beyond to help others and makes a positive contribution to their community.  The winner is:

· Mya Darragh, Belfast

HEALTHY LIVING & LEARNING

The Healthy Living & Learning Award celebrates Radius communities that have made a positive difference through engaging in local community projects such as biodiversity, recycling, neighbourhood cleans ups and more.  The winners are:

· Rathain Fold, Coleraine

· Tullyvallen Fold, Newtownhamilton

· Veronica Brown, Clonard Mid Shankill Challenge 

LOCKDOWN LEGEND

The Lockdown Legend Award recognises someone in the Radius Community who deserves to be recognised for all their hard work and dedication to others during the pandemic.  The Lockdown Legend Award winner is:

· Agnes, Tullaghmurry Fold

BEST KEPT GARDEN

The Best Kept Garden award celebrates all the great work by our tenants and communities in their gardens.  This year the award was opened for both communal and private gardens. The winners are:

· Mary, Rosseden

· Quoile Fold, Downpatrick

· Fold Mews, Bangor

· Rathain Fold, Coleraine

· Loopland Fold, Belfast

We are so thankful for everyone who took their time to complete a nomination form for this years Radius Heroes Awards.  Well done to all this year’s nominees and award winners, it is people and communities like you that make such a positive difference to all those in our Radius Communities.
