Leading local housing association, Radius Housing has been engaging with global social housing providers at the International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) in Dublin.
The International Social Housing Festival (ISHF), which took place in the Convention Centre, Dublin, is a major annual international event that brings together leaders and innovators in housing from across the globe, offering an unparalleled platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The festival’s agenda was shaped by the active involvement of global organisations, who shared innovative ideas, practical insights, and proven expertise aimed at addressing housing challenges and promoting inclusive housing systems.
The Radius team, led by John McLean, CEO and supported by Loma Wilson, Director of Communities and Fiona McAnespie, Director of Care and Support and Housing with Care, delivered a number of engaging session, in which they showcased how their work is helping to improve the lives of tenants and build strong communities.
Their contributions covered ‘More than just a housing association’, ‘Independent Living’ and ‘Supported Housing with Care’. The sessions also featured a live play delivered by ‘Plays Aloud’ where they performed their new production entitled ‘A Whole New Adventure’ featuring what is like to be entering the world of independent living in later life.
