Sylwia has over 7 years of experience in welfare advice provision working for Citizens Advice Bureau since 2007, followed by PECA NI and Advice NI. She managed general advice provision, advocacy support and awareness sessions to individuals from the local community and newly arrived ethnic community groups to ensure they understood their rights and responsibilities, had equal access to services.
In 2011 Sylwia obtained Community Interpreting Level 4 NOCN and worked as Freelance Polish/English interpreter and Bi-Lingual Generalist and Welfare Reform Benefit Advisor (2017) working in the context of law, housing, health, education, employment, and business.
She further completed Representing Clients at Social Security Tribunal training with Advice NI (2018) and represented clients at the Tribunal Services.
