Presbyterian Council of Social Witness

Working in partnership with many different organisations, the Presbyterian Church in Ireland plays a key role in ministering to the physical needs of people – just as it has done since the foundation of the Presbyterian Orphan and Children’s Society in 1866.

Today the Church provides services for a diverse range of users across Ireland. This includes residential care, supported housing and nursing care for older people, day care, residential respite care, supported living and other services for people with a learning disability and those with a physical disability. The Church also works with people with addictions and with offenders.
