Do you need help with digital solutions?
Business in the Community, in partnership with Go on NI and NI Direct is providing a digital assistance service over the phone for anyone who needs it during the current pandemic. If you have a tablet, laptop or phone and need help to address a specific problem, simply text the word DIGITALHELP to 67300 with a brief description of what you require help with and someone will phone you within 48 hours with free, helpful advice.
A freephone helpline to help those in vulnerable groups to access information, advice and guidance in relation to COVID-19 is open 9.00 am to 5.00pm, seven days a week.
The helpline is local to Northern Ireland, and is managed by Advice NI.

If you need help, ask family, friends and neighbours to support you and use online services, such as food delivery services. If this is not possible, then the public sector, business, charities, and the general public are gearing up to help those advised to stay at home.Speak to others and ask them to help you to make arrangements for the delivery of food, medicines and essential services and supplies, and look after your physical and mental health and wellbeing.If you receive support from health and social care organisations this will continue as normal. Your health trust or health care provider will be asked to take additional precautions to make sure that you are protected.If you have received a letter from your GP and you have been asked to shield during the COVID-19 pandemic you may be able to get a weekly food box delivered to your home.Food boxes are available for people who cannot afford food and who do not have a support network of family and friends to help them through this emergency. These boxes will also be available to those who are not shielding, but who are in critical need of food including families and older citizens.If you feel you may qualify for a weekly food box you can contact the COVID 19 Community helpline who will carry out an assessment to see if you are able to avail of a food box. Your details will then be passed to partners in the Health Trusts and / or local Councils who will arrange delivery of your weekly food box.
Anyone who cannot leave home who are self isolating, may be able to ask a trusted friend or volunteer to withdraw cash at any Post Office using a single-use voucherRead more here
