Radius is implementing the following measures in response to the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in Northern Ireland and in keeping with the Northern Ireland Executive pathway to recovery .
Our offices in Holywood, Lisburn Road, Newry and Derry/Londonderry are open to the public by appointment only. We will strive to continue delivering services whilst minimising face-to-face contact as much as possible to ensure the safety of all our staff, tenants and residents.
Due to the ongoing situation arising from Coronavirus we are concentrating on repairs that are emergency and urgent works of a health and safety nature along with external routine works.
Radius staff and contractors will implement an enhanced risk assessment before visiting any home or scheme. We will have to ask a number of questions to determine your household’s health before we make a decision to complete a visit. Please do not be offended by this, our staff and our tenants and residents health is of paramount importance to us.
We are following the Regional Guidance on visiting, A Pathway to Enhanced Visiting issued by the Department of Health. Visiting is by appointment only and will be subject to pre visit Covid screening. Please contact the Scheme and a member of Senior staff will be able to provide full details.
Until further notice sheltered housing scheme communal gatherings have been cancelled. This includes lunch clubs, coffee mornings, use of the hairdressing facilities etc. We ask that non-essential visits to sheltered schemes are avoided until further notice and no more than one visitor at a time.
Customers facing financial difficulties as a result of the on-going emergency should telephone their Housing Officer for further advice. We will have a sensitive approach to those in financial difficulty.
Our staff will commence visits in tenants homes again but each home will be risk assessed prior to entry. Our staff will wear necessary PPE and socially distance from occupants in their home.
